For the next lesson in our BEL260 class , we going to do about the part in final examination question which is the comprehension . As we know , the question make student to find the answer based the paragraph . Miss Zu give some technique how to find the point .

It have 3 technique we can use it :=

     1)      READING
     2)      SKIMMING
     3)      SCANNING

READING

With intelligent practice , you can learn to read faster with better understanding . EFfiecient reading will help you shorten your study periods , improve your grades as well as we get more enjoyment and absorb more information from your reading materials .

SKIMMING

It refer s to the process of quickly identifying the main ideas within a passage to get an overall of its content .Skimming is done at a speed three to four time faster than normal reading .People often skim when they have lots of materials to read in a limited amount of time . You can also skim when you want to see if an article is relevant to your research .

SCANNING

Scanning is a reading skill used to find specific information quickly . Scanning also involves moving your eyes quickly down the page seeking specific words and phrases . When scanning for the information , you do not read everything in detail . You only look for key words or concentrate on certain part . You also have question in your mind and read a passage only to find the answer to the question , ignoring other unrelated information .
